England footballer Kieran Trippier’s marriage hits rocky patch
According to reports, England right-back Kieran Trippier and his wife, Charlotte, are nearing separation as cracks in their marriage become more apparent.
In recent developments, it was observed that Charlotte was absent from Germany during Euro 2024, where Trippier was playing for England. The £3.8 million mansion owned by the couple in Newcastle is now on the market, signalling trouble in their eight-year marriage.
Reports from The Sun further state that Trippier had hoped to address their issues before the tournament but chose to wait until after. The strain reportedly began when Trippier was seen at a party celebrating Newcastle’s Champions League qualification last May. He was photographed lifting and embracing a woman at a karaoke bar while Charlotte was on vacation in Spain.
Trippier and Charlotte, who became engaged in 2015 and married in 2016, have three children: Jacob (born 2016), Esme Rose (born 2020), and their youngest (born 2022).
During Euro 2024, Trippier started every match for England until the semifinals, missing the final due to injury. England ultimately lost 1-2 to Spain, missing the Euro title for the second consecutive tournament.
