Atletico Madrid are closing in on a significant transfer, as they finalize details to sign Artem Dovbyk from Girona.

Dovbyk who netted 24 goals last season and won the Pichichi trophy fits the bill perfectly. Atletico’s revised bid of €30 million plus €5 million in bonuses has brought them closer to securing the striker.

This move would make Dovbyk Atletico Madrid’s third most expensive signing. If the deal goes through as expected, this will tie with Radamel Falcao’s 2011 transfer as one of the most expensive transfers in the club’s history.
