Yan Couto nearing Manchester City exit

Borussia Dortmund are looking to bolster their full-back positions this summer and have taken an interest in Manchester City outcast Yan Couto. The defender spent the last season on loan at Girona and helped them to a 3rd place finish in La Liga.

Couto has never made a first-team appearance for the Cityzens and will now make a permanent exit to the Bundesliga this summer. According to reports, Borussia Dortmund have reportedly agreed to pay €20m plus €5m in add-ons, but City are holding out a €30m fee on the right-back.

He would be an excellent acquisition for Borussia Dortmund and he will compete with Julian Ryerson for a spot in the starting XI.
