Manchester City set asking price for Julian Alvarez

Copa American 2024 winner Julian Alvarez has been linked with a move to Chelsea after the Argentine striker has grown incredibly frustrated with a lack of game time at the Etihad Stadium. The 24-year-old has been forced to play second fiddle to Erling Haaland throughout the last two seasons.

He made 54 appearances in all competitions and scored 19 goals for City last season. The Cityzens reportedly won’t stand in his way, but are seeking a £60m transfer fee, plus a further £17m in add-ons which would mean a massive profit on the £18m they paid River Plate two years ago.
