It was here that the youngster first began drawing a lot of attention and after a long-drawn saga, moved to Paris Saint Germain in 2019, with contract talks with his former club breaking down. That said, it would take nearly two years for Xavi to make his senior debut for the French giants before winning his first trophy with the side, a couple of months later.
Ahead of the 2021-2022 season, Xavi was brought in to train with the first team but saw very limited game time throughout the season. As a result, the following season saw PSV Eindhoven secure his signature on a five-year contract after negotiations regarding a loan deal broke down. As such, he was loaned back to RB Leipzig once again for the 2024-2025 season, where he has had an impactful start to the season.
