Tottenham Hotspur reject Real Betis proposal for Giovani Lo Celso
Giovani Lo Celso is likely to return to his former club Real Betis after the transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported so. Lo Celso transfer saga has been circulating online for the past few days. Previously, Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou also stated that he will not include Lo Celso into his plan this season.
Romano reported that Tottenham Hotspur owner Daniel Levy rejected the initial proposal from Betis, but talks are taking place. Lo Celso used to play 45 games for Betis in the past, scoring 16 goals equipped with six assists.
His presence in North London was initially as a loanee, with a permanent option with Spurs. Since playing his debut for Spurs in August 2019, Lo Celso has appeared in 108 matches for the Lilywhites, scoring 10 goals. (source: Fabrizio Romano)
