Wolves move on from Luca Koleosho; no guarantee regarding Podence’s Saudi move and agreement reached for Ajax’s forward
As per ‘Fabrizio Romano‘ Premier League club Wolves have ‘moved on’ from their prominent winger target in the form of Burnley’s Luca Koleosho. Romano has insisted that the Clarets want a transfer sum of around £40 million for the player, which is understandably ‘considered’ an expensive deal to make by the Wolves’ hierarchy as of now.
Earlier various reports hinted that Wolves have made an offer of around £25 million to Burnley in order to sign Koleosho.
Moving on to Daniel Podence’s situation at the Old Gold with the transfer window nearing its closure, Journalist Ben Jacobs has laid out that at this moment in time, there is ‘no guarantee’ of the Portuguese winger moving to Saudi Pro League club Al-Shabab.
Reportedly Al-Shabab is considering paying a sum of €5 million for Podence, which stands at half the valuation of where Wolves actually rate him to be. Also, talks are not advanced between the clubs, with the Old Gold’s hierarchy still dwelling on the thought of Podence staying at the club beyond this window.
However, Ben Jacobs insists that the Saudi-based club has till September 2 to table a more suitable offer.
Meanwhile, according to ‘David Ornstein‘, Wolves have struck an agreement with Eredivisie’s Ajax to sign forward Carlos Forbs. The player will move to Molineux in an initial loan deal which includes an option to buy after the season ends for around €13.5 million. He is reportedly bound to travel from the Netherlands to complete his transfer to Wolves.
