Tottenham Hotspur Fixtures for Premier League 2024/25: Key Matches, Kick-Off Times, Schedule, and Venues
Tottenham Hotspur started off the 2023-2024 Premier League campaign in quite a positive way under their Australian Gaffer Ange Postecoglou. Spurs were firing on all cylinders and successfully converting their managers’ vision of an attacking brand of front-foot football into points and on-field wins. They kept climbing up the table.
With 14 points out of the possible 18 in their opening six fixtures of the campaign, Tottenham looked on course for a special season under Postecoglou. They defeated teams like Man United, Burnley, Bournemouth, and Sheffield United and managed a draw against London rivals Arsenal and Brentford.
However, as the season progressed into the second half, Tottenham’s form slanted down a bit and they faced tough competition from Unai Emery’s Aston Villa for a potential Champions League spot. The Spurs faltered heavily as a run of inconsistent results ultimately saw them lose the UCL spot to Villa. Meanwhile, they were also knocked out of the FA Cup in the fourth round after a 0-1 loss to Man City.
As far as the Carabao Cup (EFL Cup) was concerned, Spurs crashed out of the competition in the second round after defeat on penalties to Fulham. Progressing into the second half of their 2023-24 Premier League campaign, Ange Postecoglou’s style of holding a higher defensive line does ponder quite a lot of criticism as the club’s 1-2 and 1-4 loss to Wolves and Chelsea respectively at home raised a lot of questions.
But, the Australian manager showed no signs of backing down and hinted towards playing the same brand of football after not being influenced by the results. Players like Son Hueng-Min and James Maddison weren’t able to make that sort of impact in the latter half of the season to push Spurs up the table. Tottenham managed to get European football for the 2024-25 season in the form of the Europa League by finishing fifth on last season’s Premier League table.
Having poached in players like James Maddison, Micky van de van, Brenan Johnson, and Radu Dragusin, Spurs did add quite a bit of firepower to their arsenal in the previous season. But, they perhaps need something more to implement Postecoglou’s style of football successfully and effectively on the pitch. The London-based club have been linked with players like Ivan Toney, Conor Gallagher, and Marc Guehi in the latest summer transfer window.
While Toney did add depth to their squad and could emerge as a potential successor to Harry Kane, Conor Gallagher just might be the right style of dynamic midfielder to feature in Ange’s playing eleven. Marc Guehi could make their defensive abilities more sustainable.
On the front of players who might be departing the club, names like Emerson Royal, Giovani Lo Celso, and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg have surfaced. It remains to be seen how the club does its business leading into the next season. For now, we take a look at the Tottenham Hotspur fixtures for the 2024-25 Premier League season.

Tottenham Hotspur Key Fixtures in 2024/25 Premier League Season
Tottenham Hotspur begin their 2024-2025 Premier League campaign against the newly promoted Leicester City in an away-from-home fixture at the King Power Stadium on August 19. With only Everton and Newcastle to follow in the same month, they would not be coming up against any of the other so-called top-five teams till September arrives.
In September Spurs will be taking on the arch-rivals Arsenal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. A fixture in which Ange Postecoglou’s side suffered a 2-3 defeat last time around.
After the fixture against Gunners, they will play Brentford in another home game as they build up to the highly-anticipated clash against Man United at the Old Trafford. Spurs took four points off United in the previous season and they drew the game at Old Trafford.
With Man City in November and Chelsea and Liverpool to follow in December, Tottenham has its work cut out. However, leading to Christmas if they manage to consolidate those early nerves and put enough points on the board, they can be a dangerous side leading into the second half of the 2024-25 Premier League season.
