Ten Hag Draws a Line Under Sancho Saga: “We Move On”

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that the club has resolved its issues with winger Jadon Sancho.

The 24-year-old returned to first-team training in July marking his first appearance at Carrington since his exile following a defeat to Arsenal in September 2023.

Sancho spent the latter half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund making 21 appearances which also included a significant outing in the Champions League final.

Ten Hag and Sancho held a positive meeting upon the player’s return leading to a fresh start.

“Yeah, as we said, we’ve drawn the line,” Ten Hag stated.

“Manchester United need good players and Jadon is a good player. We have drawn that line and we move on.” Although Sancho did not travel for the first pre-season game against Rosenberg but he is back in training preparing for the upcoming season.

Sancho’s contract at Old Trafford runs until June 2026 with an option for an additional year. Over his three years at the club the former BvB star has made 82 appearances and scored 12 goals.
