Villarreal have completed their second signing of the summer following Willy Kambwala’s acquisition from Manchester United. The 19-year-old has signed a contract until 2029 and was officially unveiled at the club on Monday. Predominantly a centre-back, Kambwala made eight appearances for the Red Devils in the Premier League last season, and 10 in all competitions, as head coach Erik ten Hag have him his senior break. He came through the ranks at Manchester United’s academy and will now be looking to continue his development into a solid defender at Villarreal under the wings of astute tactician, Marcelino.
