Seria A clubs pushing hard for Chelsea outcast Cesare Casadei

Serie A clubs Bologna, Napoli and Fiorentina are keen on signing out-of-favour Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei, who was left out of the club’s pre-season tour in the United States.

The former Inter Milan prospect is expected to leave on a season-long loan with Fiorentina holding a strong interest in the young midfielder. Casadei spent the first half of the 2023/24 season on loan with Leicester City.

The £12m youngster is currently on the radar of several Italian clubs and a return to his homeland would be an ideal situation for Casadei. Chelsea are under no pressure to sanction the departure of the midfielder who’s contracted until 2028.
