Harry Maguire tipped to make Chelsea transfer

The England international would once again struggle for first-team football this season following the arrival of Leny Yoro. Man United are on the lookout for one more central defender which would pip Maguire further down the pecking order.

Harry Maguire has been advised by Dwight Yorke to consider a move to Chelsea and believes the 31-year-old could be an ideal replacement for Thiago Silva who left the club on a free transfer this summer.

Maguire missed the Euro 2024 due to a calf injury and now he has entered the final 12 months of his contract. He could be an ideal signing for Chelsea if Manchester United agrees to a lower fee.
