OFFICIAL: Sepp van den Berg completes his move to Brentford
Sepp van den Berg has completed a permanent transfer to Premier League side Brentford and signed a five-year contract with the Bees. The 22-year-old defender has turned down plenty of offers from German clubs including Bayer Leverkusen, Mainz, Stuttgart and a few more.
Liverpool will reportedly receive a guaranteed £20 million, with an additional £5 million potentially due in add-ons and the club have also included a 17.5% sell-on clause in the deal.
Van den Berg spent the last season on loan at Mainz where he made 33 Bundesliga appearances. He has only four senior appearances for Liverpool in his five-year spell with the club.
