Liverpool ready to launch a bid for Jarrad Branthwaite

The Reds are reportedly plotting a big transfer bid for Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite, who is reportedly keen to make a move to Anfield this summer. The 21-year-old English defender has also been on the radar of Manchester United since the start of this summer window.

Branthwaite’s contract with Everton expires in the summer of 2027 and the club are demanding in excess of £70million for the defender’s services. But few reports suggest that Toffees have no intention to sell Branthwaite to one of their arch-rivals.

But, Liverpool are confident that a deal could be done for the Everton man in the final week of the summer transfer window.
