Liverpool hopeful of securing a transfer for Bayern Munich target Johan Bakayoko

PSV Eindhoven winger Johan Bakayoko recently admitted his desire to join a top club this summer after leading the Dutch giants to the Eredivisie title in the 2023-24 season. Bakayoko, who bagged 14 goals and 14 assists, would be an expensive signing for Liverpool.

The Belgian attacker represented his country in the Euro 2024 and has been viewed as a potential long-term replacement for Mo Salah who has entered the final 12 months of his contract.

Bayern Munich have also expressed an interest in the 21-year-old attacker and for now Liverpool will continue to monitor the situation before making any move.
