Liverpool eyeing a move for Crystal Palace defender Joachim Andersen

The Merseyside giants are closely monitoring the situation of Crystal Palace centre-back Joachim Andersen, who has been targeted by a host of Premier League clubs such as Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur.

Andersen was at the heart of the Eagles’ resurgence under Oliver Glasner in the second half of the 2023/24 campaign. The Danish defender has been a constant feature at the back and has turned out 110 times for Crystal Palace in the last three seasons.

He has two years left on his contract and has been identified as a long-term replacement for Joel Matip who left Anfield earlier this summer.
