Manchester United still remain keen on Manuel Ugarte
The Red Devils are determined to land a new defensive midfielder and the club have held talks with several players including Manuel Ugarte from PSG. But, United believe PSG’s asking price is too high for the Uruguayan midfielder which made the club turn their attention to other players.
PSG are keen to move him away from the Parc des Princes following the arrival of Joao Neves from Benfica in a deal worth up to £60m. Ugarte arrived at PSG last summer, but was an unused substitute on 14 occasions during his debut campaign.
The Uruguayan is a player who is immensely admired by United after their back-to-back attempts to sign the 23-year-old midfielder this summer.
