Liverpool closing in on Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon

The Reds have piqued an interest in Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon, who is open to make the move to Anfield this summer. Liverpool are reportedly closing in on a £75million deal for Gordon, where we could also see Joe Gomez go the other way to make the move to Tyneside.

With Salah entering the final year of his contract, a move for Gordon would make sense for Liverpool’s long-term future. Gordon grew up as a Liverpool fan despite playing at Everton for 11 long years. He bagged 11 goals and 10 assists in 35 Premier League matches last season while mainly being deployed on the left wing.
