Joe Gomez open to leaving Liverpool this summer

Liverpool defender Joe Gomez faces an uncertain future at Anfield and the 27-year-old has garnered interest from a few clubs in Saudi Arabia over a potential move in the summer transfer window.

But, the Reds are yet to receive a concrete offer for the England international, who is currently on holiday after being part of England’s European Championship squad. Liverpool would also need to bring in a quality backup in case Gomez completes a move in the final weeks of the transfer window.

The English defender has dropped down the pecking order in the past two seasons and his game time could be limited in the Arne Slot era.
