Leny Yoro’s ‘Hidden Pact’ with Manchester United could pave way for 2026 exit
Manchester United has paved the way for a secret deal with Leny Yoro until 2026, as per reports.
The Ligue 1 teenager Yoro joined Premier League giants Manchester United from Lille for a fee of £52.1 million, earlier this summer.
A race involving Real Madrid, PSG, and Lyon, was won by the English giants to sign the 18-year-old centre-back.
Competitive action has been put on hold for the youngster due to a metatarsal injury in pre-season, keeping him out until November.
However, his pre-season included a debut against Rangers last month which was a memorable display. The United fans will be hoping he can slowly turn the tides as they aim for Premier League contention, but those aspirations may be cut into ‘two years’ as per a new report.
The Spanish outlet, which majorly covers Real Madrid claims that a move to Real at some point during his career is still in the books.
The sources from the verbal agreement with United believe a move at a price between €50 and €55 million that sees Yoro leave Old Trafford for Santiago Bernabéu in 2026.
It’s a deal worth nothing says the Spanish media which earlier reported that Yoro decided to join Real Madrid over any other club during his time at Lille.
But the winds changed direction for the youngster who moved to Old Trafford instead.
In Yoro’s first interview for Manchester United, he spoke: “Yeah, for me, this [the Premier League] is the biggest championship in the world.
“For me, the Premier League… this is where the football fully exists. So the fans, the level – because the level is crazy there, there is not an easy game. For me, the Premier League is the biggest in the world.
“I’m just really excited to play at Old Trafford, to be honest. This is a historic stage.
“I already imagined myself on the pitch. I was with my family there, and they were impressed too. It’s one of the biggest stadiums in the world. I’m really happy to be here.”
