Joao Palhinha has completed his medical with Bayern Munich

German giants Bayern Munich have almost completed the signing of João Palhinha from Aston Villa in a deal worth up to €56m. The Portuguese will reportedly pen a four-year contract with the Bundesliga stalwarts with the option of one additional year.

Joao Palhinha has already completed his medical in Munich according to Fabrizio Romano and will become Bayern’s seventh signing of the summer. He has been one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League and attracted interest from Liverpool and Manchester United.

But the Portuguese made a clear desire to join Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and will soon be announced at the Allianz Arena.
