Fulham continue their chase for Joachim Anderson
According to a report by ‘SportsMole‘, backed by ‘The Athletic’, after seeing their initial bid of around £20 million waved off by Crystal Palace in regards to signing Joachim Anderson, Fulham has reportedly returned with an improved bid in the region of £25 million in an attempt to land the player before the transfer window shuts.
Report had it that, the Cottagers are also willing to add a mere sum of £5 million as add-ons in their improved second bid for Anderson.
Fulham and Marco Silva have seen defensive options like Tosin Adarabioyo, and Tim Ream depart the club so far in this window to Chelsea and Charlotte FC respectively. So on paper, they do look in need of strengthening that area of the pitch leading into the new season.
The above point still prevails even though they have recently signed center-back Jorge Cuenca from La Liga’s Villarreal.
