Fabrizio Romano gives an update on Jakub Kiwior’s future

Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior has been deemed surplus to Mikel Arteta’s requirements, as the full-back was not even on the bench in Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Wolves in their first game of the Premier League campaign.

The 24-year-old Polish international has heavily attracted interest from Italy and there’s a possibility he might be leaving before the summer window shuts.

Romano said, “There’s a serious possibility for Kiwior to leave, but my sources guarantee that as of today, there will be no concrete talks with any particular club. It’s not the case of one specific club already being in negotiations for Kiwior at this moment. My understanding, though, is that Kiwior would love to return to Italy.”
