Everton interested in transfer of Man City outcast

The Toffees have expressed their interest in English midfielder Kalvin Phillips as they are set to lose Amadou Onana in the summer. Phillips is not a part of Pep Guardiola’s plans and the board are ready to sanction a departure.

Phillips hasn’t been able to break into Guardiola’s team in the last two seasons and still has four years left on his contract. Everton are in the market for a midfielder and could offer the England international a fresh start in his professional career.

Everton have earmarked Kalvin Phillips as a serious option this summer, which would also be a perfect destination to rediscover his best form and break into the England national football side. The Toffees are yet to make a formal offer for the 28-year-old midfielder.
