Atletico Madrid lining up Julian Alvarez transfer from Man City

Atletico Madrid have been scouring the market for a new striker in this summer’s transfer window and Manchester City’s Julian Alvarez has emerged as a possible option. Alvaro Morata confirmed his move to AC Milan and Los Rojiblancos are in dire need of a replacement before the start of the new campaign.

Julian Alvarez, who clinched the 2024 Copa America with Argentina earlier this month plays second fiddle to Erling Haaland and reportedly wants more game time than what he has received over the past two seasons at Etihad.

But, Manchester City would demand around £70 million to part ways with the Argentine international and reports have emerged that Atletico might offer Joao Felix as a part of a swap deal.
