Chido Obi-Martin undergoing medical ahead of Manchester United move from Arsenal

Chido Obi-Martin is reportedly undergoing his medical at Manchester United. Th highly rated youngster left Arsenal last month and has agreed terms with the Red Devils.

As per a report in Sky Sports, the 16-year-old has picked Manchester United as his next club and is set to sign the deal next week. Dharmesh Sheth and Adrian Kajumba said:

“Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign 16-year-old striker Chido Obi-Martin. He’s expected to have a medical in the coming days. The former Arsenal player – who left the club at the end of his contract – turned down superior offers from Germany to sign for United.”

“A new deal with Arsenal had been agreed but he wanted to move on because he had doubts over his potential pathway into first team football and the club’s project. Obi-Martin feels his career development is best served at a new club. He scored ten goals in a game for Arsenal U16 in November.”

Manchester United beat a host of clubs to sign the forward.
