Euro 2024 winner Rodri turns DJ to entertain crowd in Ibiza
Potential Ballon d’Or winner Rodri has enjoyed a stellar last couple of seasons as he enjoys football at the peak of his power. The Spanish international who has won all major club trophies with Manchester City recently added the Euro 2024 trophy to his cabinet. While he enjoyed being at the center of attention, he made headlines for a similar reason but in a different field. Rodri was spotted at a party where he turned DJ and enjoyed his time with friends.
Rodri turns DJ
In pictures doing rounds on the internet, the Spanish maestro was spotted at a party in his native Ibiza, a destination popular for parties in Spain. Rodri would turn out to be the DJ at the party where he would also handle the microphone before signing songs. He would later cheer for the crowd and dance, making the atmosphere electrifying. The motion was caught on the camera and all the fans and crowd got to enjoy a different face of the 28-year-old.
Rodri is nearing his return to the Manchester City setup as the Premier League season gets underway in two weeks. Having helped Spain win the Euro 2024, the midfielder was given special permission for a holiday with the family and missed the club’s US tour. Manchester City will play their first competitive match of the season next Sunday when they face Manchester United in the FA Community Shield.
It is unlikely Rodri will be available for that match, but he will be looking forward to the Premier League season where Manchester City face Chelsea in the opening round on August 18.
The Spanish international is one of the favourites to win this year’s Ballon d’Or having helped Man City win the Premier League and finish runners-up in the FA Cup. City were only eliminated from the Champions League on penalty shootout. At the international level, Rodri helped Spain win the Euro 2024 where he was Player of the Tournament.
He added to his Nations League success with the national side and could add more trophies to his cabinet next year. While he continues to impress, Real Madrid have kept an eye on his future at the club with Dani Carvajal recently suggesting Los Blancos could be the ideal destination for the starman to play the rest of his career. He is taunted as a potential replacement for Toni Kroos who recently retired from football.
