Bryan Gil joins Girona on loan from Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur’s Bryan Gil has joined La Liga side Girona, confirmed transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on X. The Spaniard is set for his third loan spell back in his home country since joining Spurs in 2021. But unlike his Valencia and Sevilla loans in 2022 and 2023, Gil is set for a season-long loan this time around, which means he will spend the entirety of the 2024-25 season with the Blanquivermells in La Liga. The 23-year-old has a contract with Tottenham until 2026, but has a release clause, which Girona can active next year for just €15 million.
