Barcelona’s Vitor Roque declines Al-Hilal’s offer

Barcelona forward Vitor Roque has reportedly declined an offer to join Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, according to Fabrizio Romano on X. The Spaniard was a subject of transfer speculation this summer with the Blue Waves in particular showing interest in bringing him to Riyadh. The 19-year-old was signed by the Catalans for €61 million last summer, but struggled to find regular gametime under head coach Xavi, which even prompted a few scathing words against the club by his agent. Spanish news outlet Sport reported that Barcelona demanded €40 for Roque and Al-Hilal were ready to splash the cash, but he has now turned their offer.
