Matthijs De Ligt is closer to join Manchester United

When rumours about Matthijs de Ligt joining Manchester United seemed to fade away, Fabrizio Romano reported that the issue is still ongoing. The Italian transfer expert wrote on his X post, saying that the former Ajax captain has agreed to join United on personal terms.

Manchester United and Bayern Munich have been entwined in a negotiation process over the fee for De Ligt. However, the player is waiting for the deal to be done as he is into the narration.  

SkySports wrote that De Ligt is likely to be sold as Bayern’s current manager Vincent Kompany fancies Bayer Leverkusen’s Jonathan Tah more than himself. As things stand, the talks are currently taking place to find a meeting point over the negotiation.
