Arsenal To Play Against Tottenham Hotspur in Pre-Season in Hong Kong

Arsenal are set to face Tottenham in a pre-season fixture in July in Hong Kong’s newly built 50,000 seater stadium, Kai Tak. This will be the first ever North London derby which will be held outside of the UK.

The Asian audience has grown in strength over the years and their passion and admiration for football have caught the attention of various top European clubs. The pre-season fixture between the two iconic London clubs will take place on July 3rd and will be a part of the Hong Kong Football Festival 2025. Similarly, their fellow Premier League club Liverpool are also set to face AC Milan in the same stadium on July 26th.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have a long history between them with the North London Derby being one of the most iconic derbies in English football. Arsenal and Tottenham’s first encounter was in 1909, and ever since then, they have faced each other 185 times with Arsenal winning 77 matches, Tottenham winning 58 matches and the remaining 55 have ended in a draw. This iconic derby has been much appreciated and viewed all over the world, and it is going to be held outside of the UK for the first time.

Tottenham Hotspur’s chief revenue officer Ryan Norys’s official statement:
