Wolves reach ‘agreement’ to sign FC Nantes’ center-back: Report

As per a recent report by ‘THE WOLFPACK‘ backed by French outlet ‘L’EQUIPE’, Premier League club Wolves have reached an ‘agreement’ with Ligue 1 side FC Nantes to sign center-back Bastein Meupiyou.

The transfer fee involved in the deal is reported to be around €5 million (excluding any potential bonuses). The agreement on transfer is termed to be reached between all the parties involved in the player’s move to the Premier League club.

However, as of now, it remains unclear, that whether Meupiyou will be drafted straight into the first-team squad by Gary O’Neil or will be sent on loan to Wolves’ subsidiary club Grasshoppers or Liga Portugal side FC Famalicao (as reported by Emmanuel Merceron).
