Wolves identify Brentford winger as a potential Pedro Neto replacement
A report by ‘CaughtOffside‘, citing ‘The Athletic’, has stated that Premier League’s Wolves have ‘identified’ league rivals Brentford’s winger Yoane Wissa as someone who could fill Pedro Neto’s void after the Portuguese joined Chelsea recently in a deal worth around £54 million (via Sky Sports).
Wissa has two years left on his current contract with the Bees, and it is being termed that the London-based club is open to selling the attacking player at the right price, as they are aware of the fact that his price might drop as he nears the end of his contract.
Wissa, meanwhile, scored for Brentford in their 2-1 win over Crystal Palace on the opening weekend of the 2024-25 Premier League.
It remains to be seen if Wolves and Gary O’Neil will push to sign Wissa in the coming days.
