Jude Bellingham’s goal was disallowed under dramatic circumstances in the last seconds of Valencia vs Real Madrid. Referee Jesus Gil Manzano blew the final whistle just as the cross was played towards the Englishman. The player was visibly livid and was sent off for dissent towards the referee.

Los Blancos made a good start to the game and dominated possession in the early stages. However, one good move was their undoing in the 27th minute as they went 1-0 down to Hugo Duro’s goal. Daniel Carvajal then made an error as he passed the ball to Roman Yeremchuk, who slotted it past Andriy Lunin to make it 2-0.
Viniciur Junior kept Real Madrid in the game with a goal on the cusp of half-time. The visitors made a good start to the second half and looked to get back into the game. The Brazilian added a second goal in the 75th minute, giving his side hopes of snatching a late win.
There were seven minutes of time added after the initial 90, with Real building momentum near Valencia’s penalty area. Their last move saw the ball being crossed towards Bellingham and him putting the ball past Giorgi Mamardashvili in goal.
However, the play was pulled back and the game was ended as the referee had blown the final whistle moments before the ball was crossed. Referees are not obligated to wave play on even if one of the teams is creating a good move.

Following the incident, Real Madrid players led by Daniel Carvajal and Jude Bellingham surrounded referee Manzano. They were clearly displeased with a decision and some even looked to the skies in disbelief.
Bellingham, the scorer, rushed towards the referee and cussed out at him, resulting in a straight red card being pointed in his direction. The game ended in dramatic fashion but Real retained top spot in La Liga with 66 points from 27 games.
