West Ham are pushing hard to sign Aston Villa striker Jhon Durán
Aston Villa forward Jhon Durán has been linked with a big-money move this summer after initial interests from Chelsea and West Ham United. The Hammers are currently leading the race for the 20-year-old Colombian striker.
Since joining Aston Villa in 2023, Duran has scored only eight goals in 37 appearances for the Villians but Julen Lopetegui’s side are willing to offer £ 35 million plus add-ons for the forward.
According to Fabrizio Romano:
“There is a negotiation for Jhon Duran, West Ham now, because West Ham have presented several proposals over the last two to three weeks for John Duran. It was all quiet but now, the news has been leaked, and we can say that the last proposal they did in the last 24 hours, was for something around £35 million, plus 10% sell-on clause for Jhon Duran.”
West Ham have reportedly submitted multiple bids for the 20-year-old after already having agreed personal terms with Duran. The talented young striker has played second fiddle to Ollie Watkins last season and started only three appearances in the Premier League.
