WATCH: Achraf Hakimi driving Morocco team bus drives fans crazy
A video went viral online after the Paris Saint-Germain full-back Achraf Hakimi was seen driving his national team bus. Hakimi is part of the Morocco squad for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, leading the side as a captain.
The video starts with a fan tailing the Morocco team bus with his car. As the car overtook the bus, the camera aimed at the steering seat where the driver was operating the bus. That is where fans were convinced it was Hakimi who drove it.

Fans could not hold their fingers to give comments about it with one of them describing the moment as ‘the last thing you’d expected’. One other account goes ‘can your right back do this’ with two laughing emojis.
Despite football in the Olympics being mainly for players under the age of 23, the committee allowed three players above the criteria to be included with the team. Hakimi, alongside Rahimi and Munir Mohamedi, are the three players to be given the slot.
Morocco started the 2024 Olympics campaign with a victory over Argentina which went controversial. Hakimi and co were leading 2-1 by the 90 minutes where the referee gave 15 minutes of added time for Argentina.
