Valencia 0-5 Barcelona Player Ratings: Ferran Torres’ hat-trick helps Blaugrana thrash Valencia in the Copa del Rey

Barcelona secured a comprehensive victory over Valencia at the Mestella Stadium on Thursday as the thrashed the opposition 0-5 to secure a place in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey. Ferran Torres hit a first half hat-trick to give them a comfortable lead in the first half as Lamine Yamal and Fermin Lopez added on to their tally to avoid any last moment drama.

Still reeling from their 7-1 humiliation of the opposition, the Catalans picked up where they left off, being merciless right away. They dominated the whole proceedings as Valencia tried to find a footing in this game. The Catalans became the fourth team to enter into the semi-finals alongside Real Sociedad, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid.
