USA 2-0 Panama player ratings as Mauricio Pochettino start his managerial role with a win

Former Paris Saint Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino started his life in charge of the United States Men’s National team leading them to a 2-0 victory over Panama on Saturday. The United States were dominating the proceeding but were unable to find the back of the net. The closest they came was when Christian Pulisic’s shot after a quick breakaway was blocked by the Panama goalkeeper.

Yunush Musah opened the scoring for the hosts as Pulisic’s cross was fired in from the close range with just four minutes into the second half. Pepi doubled the lead after Wright ran with the ball on the left wing and played a perfect pass into the path of Pepi, who stroked it past Mosquera with his first touch.
