Tottenham Hotspur sign Burnley winger on a five-year deal

Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur have signed EFL Championship side Burnley’s winger William Odobert in a transfer deal worth around £25 million (via BBC).

Odobert will be joining Spurs on a five-year contract running till June 2029. The France Under-21 player has been impressive in whatever opportunities he has been given at Burnley in the last season.

In his 34 appearances across all competitions, Wilson Odobert netted five goals. With only 19 years of age, it would certainly be interesting to find out how Ange Postecoglou uses the winger, bearing in mind the notable sum of fee Tottenham has paid for him.

Majorly a left-winger, Odobert can play at the right wing and as an attacking midfielder as well.
