Manchester United are keeping tabs on Atalanta midfielder Ederson

The Red Devils are currently exploring the market for a new defensive midfielder and have reportedly been in constant talks to sign Atalanta midfielder Ederson. The Brazilian has established himself as one of the best midfielders in Serie A since joining the Bergamo side in 2022.

Ederson has caught the attention of several European clubs in the summer following his side’s Europa League-winning campaign in 2023/24. But, Atalanta reportedly want €60 million for the Brazilian, a fee United have earlier refused to pay for Manuel Ugarte.

It will be interesting to see if Atalanta can lower their asking price for the Brazil international in the final two weeks of the summer window.
