Tottenham forward joins Championship club on a season-long loan

As per ‘TEAMtalk‘, Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur’s forward Dane Scarlett has joined EFL Championship side Oxford United on a season-long loan. However, the deal between the Spurs and Oxford doesn’t contain either an option or obligation to buy out the striker.

This will make the 20-year-old player return to North London after the 2024-25 season ends. To the naked eye, the move does make sense as Spurs have signed Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth, meanwhile, there aren’t any concrete signs of Richarlison leaving the club before the window shuts.

After his move to Oxford United, Scarlett initially expressed – “I’m over the moon to be here and I’m ready to get started”.
