Samu Omorodion’s transfer from Atletico Madrid to Chelsea has collapsed despite agreeing on a £34.5million deal and a seven-year contract with the West London giants. He travelled to London to complete his physical tests this weekend, but his transfer is off due to a concern over his medical record.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Spanish U21 international looked certain to confirm his move to Stamford Bridge, but the decision has changed due to major problem in his contract.

The 20-year-old striker has now returned to Madrid and Chelsea will now be back in the market scrambling for a striker solution in the last few weeks of the summer window.
