Chelsea in talks to sign star striker from Atletico Madrid

The Blues have reportedly opened talks to sign former loanee Joao Felix after Sami Omorodion’s transfer to Stamford Bridge collapsed in the final hours. The Spaniard was expected to finalise a move in the coming days after both clubs agreed to a deal of £34.5million for the young forward.

As a result, Atletico Madrid’s deal for both Julian Alvarez and Conor Gallagher are in jeopardy, as they need to sell to register both players for the upcoming season. But according to Romano, Felix has been discussed by both parties and we could see the Portuguese attacker return to Stamford Bridge on a permanent deal.

Felix spent the season on loan with the West London outfit and scored four goals in 20 games for Chelsea.
