Real Sociedad interest in Barcelona outcast Clement Lenglet

The French central defender has a contract with Barcelona until the summer of 2026 and is linked with a move this summer. Lenglet spent the last two seasons on loan at Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa respectively.

Getting unwanted players off their books is Barcelona’s No.1 priority this summer and Lenglet is one such name who doesn’t appear to be in the plans of Hansi Flick. Real Sociedad has taken an interest in the Frenchman who is viewed as one of the candidates to replace Robin Le Normand who moved to Atletico Madrid this summer.

Lenglet’s experience will come in handy for the La Liga outfit but his high salary demands seem to be the only obstacle in the transfer.
