Oriol Romeu will stay at Barcelona despite interest from Serie A clubs

Barcelona midfielder Oriol Romeu will continue his career at Barcelona despite playing a minimal role for his boyhood club last season. The highly experienced midfielder has got the nod of new manager Hansi Flick who believes the Spaniard a crucial part of Barcelona in this coming season.

According to a report by Mundo Deportivo, Napoli made an offer for the veteran midfielder but he did not entertain the offer due to the club’s non-participation in the Champions League.

The 32-year-old wants to continue at Barcelona and will play an important role for the Catalan giants in the 2024/25 season.
