Real Madrid join Manchester United in the race for Matthijs de Ligt
Los Blancos are looking to hijack a deal for Bayern Munich defender Matthijs de Ligt, who has reportedly agreed personal terms with Manchester United over a probable summer move.
Manchester United have reportedly made a £29m bid for De Ligt, but Bayern are seeking £42 million for the Dutchman’s services. It is also reported that United would need to offload a few players before they can make a move for any defender.
This gives Real Madrid a window of opportunity to strike a deal with the former Juventus defender and would be the perfect way to get revenge on Manchester United after Real missed out on the Leny Yoro deal.
