PSG to initiate contact with Man City to sign Real Madrid target: Report

According to ‘ESPN Argentina’ and further backed by ‘Transfer News Live’ on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), Ligue 1 club PSG is interested in signing Premier League side Man City’s Argentine forward Julian Alvarez in the ongoing summer transfer window.

After initial links with the player, the report suggests that Ligue 1’s club interest in the player has grown ‘more concrete’ recently. The Les Parisiens are likely to ‘initiate contact’ with the reigning Premier League champions once the next week embarks upon to learn about the possibility of a potential transfer.

Julian Alvarez’s current contract with City runs till June 2028. The 24-year-old has also been linked with La Liga giants Real Madrid in the ongoing transfer window. In the previous Premier League season, he had 20 goal contributions (11 goals and nine assists) in 36 outings for Pep Guardiola’s Man City.
