Trippier and Watkins Secures Top Spot in Premier League Most Assists Race after Gameweek 25
Gameweek 25 of the Premier League has finally summed up, providing us with some interesting results along with an updated chart for the top assists this season. Players like Ollie Watkins, Mohamed Salah, Kieran Trippier, Julian Alvarez and Phil Foden have been in impressive form making the list of the top 10 assist providers so far.
Ollie Watkins: 10 Assists
Aston Villa’s talisman and English international, Ollie Watkins has been mighty impressive for the Birmingham side this season. The 28-year-old currently holds the title of the top assist provider in the Premier League this season along with Kieran Trippier with 10 assists.
Watkins has also scored 13 goals for Unai Emery’s side this season, earning him fourth place in the Premier League golden boot race.
Kieran Trippier: 10 Assists
Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United have been going through a disappointing season after finishing fourth and qualifying for the Champions League in the previous season. Nonetheless, fullback Kieran Trippier has been in great form with the Magpies, assisting 10 goals in the season so far, the most by any player along with Ollie Watkins.

Mohammed Salah: 9 Assists
Liverpool’s Egyptian forward finally made a comeback after a long absence since the start of the African Cup of Nations. Mohamed Salah is currently the second-Premier League top scorer of the league with 15 goals and also the third-highest Premier League most assist provider with 9 assists to his name.
Pascal Groß: 9 Assists
Brighton’s Pascal Groß has been in great form under the leadership of De Zerbi this season. The German international has provided 9 assists for the Seagulls which is the third highest along with Mohamed Salah and Wolves’ Pedro Neto. Along with his nine assists, Groß has also found the back of the net four times in the Premier League so far this season.

It hasn’t been the greatest of the seasons for Gary O’Niel’s Wolves as they currently linger in the bottom half of the Premier League table but its the 23-year-old Pedro Neto who has been nothing but sensational for them. The Portuguese midfielder has provided 9 assists in a season ravaged with injuries.
