Aston Villa exit imminent for Philippe Coutinho after deal with boyhood club secured: Reports
Philippe Coutinho is set to depart Premier League club Aston Villa. A Report from ‘BirminghamLive’, says that the attacking midfielder will join the Brazilian club Vasco da Gama, which is also his boyhood club.
The Brazilian has not represented Aston Villa since Unai Emery has been the club’s manager. He spent last season on loan at Qatar Stars League club Al-Duhail.
Villa’s attempt to secure a permanent transfer for Philippe Coutinho fell short when terms for a loan move were agreed to be more feasible by both parties. But, as it turned out, the English club would have to terminate the midfielder’s contract to allow Vasco da Gama to sign him for free this window.
