Official: Carney Chukwuemeka signs for Borussia Dortmund on loan

Borussia Dortmund have officially announced the signing of a young English midfielder, Carney Chukwuemeka, on January transfer window deadline day on a short-term loan deal. The 21-year-old will spend the second half of the 2024/25 seasons.

The Austrian-born English was swooped by Chelsea in 2021 for a £20 million move. However, he has only managed to secure 32 senior team appearances with the Blues. Consequently, he has now joined the Bundesliga outfit on loan from the Premier League.
